Get a sneak peek at the Gratte experience at the Animate Gratte Animate-dori Store! We’re holding a preview event for customers to celebrate the grand opening!

Animate Co., Ltd. will open the “Animate Gratte Animate-dori Store” on July 17, 2026. This will be the first standalone Gratte store in Animate’s history.
The “Animate Gratte Animate Street Store” opening this time is, as its name suggests, located on the ward road in Higashi-Ikebukuro 1-chome, commonly known as “Animate Street.”It is just a 1-minute walk from the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store and a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, making it a very accessible location.
Inside the store, customers can order “Gratte” (patent pending)—a “graphic latte” featuring character prints on the foam topping—as well as icing cookies featuring the same illustrations. They can also order “Graphic Ice,” which will be available at this store—the third location in Tokyo to carry it. Additionally, the store plans to carry merchandise from Gratte collaboration projects.
As part of our grand opening celebrations, we’ve decided to hold a “Pre-Opening Invitation! Gratte Preview Event”. We’ll select 40 winners by lottery from among those who apply via the Club Animate event page to attend the preview event scheduled for July 14. Not only will you get a sneak peek at the titles available at Glatte, but we’ve also prepared some fun surprises, so please be sure to apply.

* Participation in this event is free, but participants are responsible for any travel and lodging expenses incurred to reach the venue.
